Bogue Chitto State Park
Located in Franklinton, LA, the 1,786 acre park includes a large diversity of habitats. You’ll find small streams, scenic river systems, cypress tupelo swamps, a hardwood forest and a rollinglandscape. This park is known for some of the best hiking round.
Fontainebleau State Park
This 1800s era sugar mill plantation, turned state park sits on Lake Pontchartrain, just east of Mandeville, LA. This property includes boardwalks through the marsh, hiking trails and a fishing pier. You’ll also find some of the best sunsets while driving around to look at all the wildlife. The state park has fishing ponds, a splash park and playground for the kids.
Fairview-Riverside State Park
Fairview Riverside State Park borders the scenic Tchefuncta River. There is a boat launch on site giving you fast access to great fishing or other recreation on the river.
Reunion Lake RV Resort
This RV resort has quickly become a favorite hotspot to vacation and hang out. A few of the amenities include a lady river, a family pool, an adult pool with swim up bar, mini golf, and an outdoor amphitheater. As attractive as it is, they only open it up to RV’ers with reservations to keep the day-users out.
